The campaign aimed to raise money for the hospice while also promoting environmentally friendly tree disposal. Through the campaign, Lewis Manning was able to raise an impressive £9,000! They collected a total of 552 trees, weighing in at 2540kg, to be recycled at Eco and given a second life as compost through our open windrow composting process.

This campaign is always a great demonstration of the power of community support and the impact of small actions.

Ruth Wright, Area Fundraiser said: “We are now in our fifth year and are thrilled to be able to continue offering this brilliant eco-friendly service to our local community.

“We are so grateful to our loyal supporters who keep coming back to register their trees for collection.

We have raised an incredible £9,000 for our wonderful charity which could pay for 30 days of running our Breathlessness service. We are incredibly grateful  to Eco Sustainable Solutions for allowing us to use their services and drop off many trees to be recycled and re-used, continuing to keep our service environmentally friendly in keeping with one of our charity goals for sustainability. Thank you!!”
