Ecobark goes down a storm with landscapers  (posted 09/05/2008)

Dorset organic recycling firm Eco Sustainable Solutions has added another product to its 20-strong range with the launch of Ecobark.

The cost-effective, all-round mulch was officially unveiled at the annual GAN Trade Show held at Golden Acres Nursery near Bournemouth.

Previously Eco used oversized material from the green waste compost process at its 14-acre site at Parley, Dorset, for a bark mulch. However the process proved time consuming and expensive.

Eco subsequently tested a number of different bark products which were blended with the oversized matter. The result is the more visually appealing Ecobark.

Justin Dampney, Eco’s Business and Marketing Manager, said the product was proving popular with landscaper and merchant customers alike.

He added: “Ecobark is ideal for nearly all mulching applications and we’re delighted with the reception it has received.”
